New Years Day 2012
As I sit here writing my first post I have to wonder what 2012 holds in store for my fledgling cycling "career". I know that I will face some big decisions in this year!
I think that this will be the year that decides what the future will be for me as a racer.
One big difference will be that I will be riding with the ThinkFinance Elite Racing Team out of Ft. Worth, TX. It will be a new experience for me to have team-mates to support me and vice versa.... After riding mostly for myself last year this is exciting!
I'm hoping that I can hit at least several big NRC races this coming season, namely the Joe Martin Stage Race in Fayetteville, AR.
I have been training hard and been very fortunate that I've not gotten sick yet so far this winter. I've started training with a Quarq Power-meter just recently and it's definitely made my training a lot harder! I keep finding out that I can push my body harder than I sometimes think I can!!
I'll see how good I can keep this blog up and keep it interesting as well...
